Thanks for the information. Using the "Toshiba TV (2013 models)" device profile, this file will be transcoded to a compatible format for your TV.

The original file has a very high video bitrate (40Mb/sec) so it will take quite a long time to transcode and transcoding on-the-fly will probably be too slow for real time playback. I suggest you pre-transcode the video before streaming it and then it should play better on your TV. See this FAQ for details about pre-transcoding - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6025-Tutorial-Pre-transcoding-Files. Briefly, to pre-transcode your video for your TV, right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. On the Pre-transcode Files dialog, select your Toshiba TV and click 'Choose Formats'. On the Transcoding Formats dialog, select the bolded format and click OK. Click OK to start transcoding and wait until it has completed. When completed, try streaming the video now to your TV.

If the video still stutters or does not play smoothly, then you can try reducing the video bitrate. To do this, go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your Toshiba TV device. On the Device Settings dialog, go to the Performance tab and move the Video bitrate slider halfway. Next, go to the Transcoding tab and delete transcoded files. Now pre-transcode the video again using the above steps. When transcoding has completed, try streaming it to see the results. Let us know how you go.

thank you.

By the way, whether this software and Android ver Mezzmo is compatible with Http Live Streaming(HLS)? Interruption well to being viewed on the wireless LAN (wireless LAN is 5Ghz, 11ac).

Paul
11-12-2014, 12:02 PM
The current version of Mezzmo (v4.1.2.0) does not use HLS for streaming your files since not many DLNA / UPnP devices accept HLS when DLNA / UPnP media streaming. However, it is a technology we will look at implementing in the future as its adoption continues to grow.

If your Toshiba TV and PC are connected via wireless LAN, then this can also be a cause of stuttering when playing videos - especially high video bitrate videos. Make sure you have excellent signal strength to ensure optimal streaming bandwidth. See this FAQ for reasons for stuttering/buffering/stopping - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6538-Tutorial-How-to-reduce-excessive-stuttering-or-buffering-when-streaming-videos.

Device configuration, performance, but there is a knob of video bit rate, this is not working? What will change?

The Video bitrate slider on the Device Settings dialog (Performance tab) lets you reduce the video bitrate when videos are transcoded. I suggest moving it halfway (like above) and then transcoding your video to see the effect. It should produce transcoded files with lesser video bitrates and these may play better on your devices and (wireless) home network.

I tried to move but encoding speed is no dramatic change?

I tried to move but encoding speed is no dramatic change?

That could be true. The transcoding speed may be slow since transcoding has to first decode your 1080p HD video that has 40Mb/sec video bitrate. It will require a lot of CPU processing to do this step.

And for a while tried various profiles, but other than Mezzmo Android (for example, BubbleUPnP android + Profile:BubbleUPnP To MX Player) video in did not stop.

"Android 4.2, SC-02F, MX Player, BubbleUPnP:Custom Profile"

You should get best results streaming to your Android device when you are using Mezzmo Android app + MX Player app. Both are available at Google Play store. In Mezzmo (Windows) app, go to the Media Devices dialog and make sure your Android device is using the 'Conceiva Mezzmo (Android)' device profile.

look this? Occur during playback.

Thanks for the screenshot. This will appear when you try to play a video using Mezzmo Android app. It lets you choose which app you wish to play the video in. We recommend using MX Player app since it has good format support.

If you are saying this window appears midway during video playback, then we'll try to reproduce that here and fix it. Thanks for reporting this.

You can manually open the various ports for your firewall if you like. They are listed here - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/1183-FAQ-Cannot-see-Mezzmo-on-your-DLNA-device - under 'Your computers settings' section.

Please upload the video to a filesharing site (Google Drive, Dropbox, mega.co.nz, etc.) and email the download the link to support [at] conceiva [dot] com. We'll try it with our PS3 here.

When you press this button, the operation of windowsfirewall becomes unstable?
------------
I sent an email.
Format of two files are different, but the same symptoms.

Paul
12-15-2014, 11:03 AM
After you click the "Configure Windows Firewall" button, Mezzmo will configure your Windows firewall so that Mezzmo server and the various ports can access your home network. If this is successful, then the button becomes disabled since you do not need to configure Windows firewall again.

Thanks for the two video files. We will test them shortly and report back to you via email.
