Hello
I found Mezzmo just now and played for a day and I really like, lots of good things.
I have just one problem,

When playing wtv videos there is no audio on the stream to my Sony Bravia 55" W800B Australian model

However, if I use the Windows Media Server instead of Mezzmo, there is sound in the files.

The reason i want to use Mezzmo is because the picture quality is better than Windows server. For some reason when using Windows server the image of the wtv files is poor because it looks like bad deinterlace, but Mezzmo image quality is great - just no sound,
By the way I just updated to the new version that said it supports Sony 2014 models but this did not fix the audio issue,

I hope you can help, i like this server

Let us know a few things:

The device profile assigned to your TV in Mezzmo. Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.
The FFmpeg information for one of the WTV files that has no audio. Right-click on the WTV file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

FFMpeg information is blanked out on the right click ??

That's interesting. It suggests that Mezzmo / FFmpeg could not determine the format of the video file. Try this:

Run a Windows command window (click Windows Start menu and type "cmd.exe" and press Enter)
Type the following into the command window:

"C:\Program Files\Conceiva\Mezzmo\ffmpeg32\ffmpeg.exe" -i "F:\videos\sample.WTV"

(where the first part points to your Mezzmo program folder and the second part points to the full path of one of your WTV files).
Copy and past the output here so we can see what FFmpeg thinks your WTV file is.

Thanks for your help
It may have been my fault, i was trying from the file type list, now i put it in another folder and went to the file itself. Here is the ffmpeg info

Thanks. Try this:

Go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your device.
On the Device Settings dialog, change the device profile to 'Sony Bravia KDL (2014 Models)'.
Next, go to the Transcoding tab on this dialog and turn off transcoding and delete your transcoded files. Click OK to save your changes.
Restart your Mezzmo server and try streaming the WTV now. Let us know if that plays OK.
If it does not, then go back to the Device Settings dialog (Transcoding tab) and turn transcoding back on.
Turn logging on in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server.
Try streaming now. When the video starts playing but with no audio, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo app.
Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Thanks so much for your help, here is what I found

When I set the profile to Sony 2014 models it all started working fine with great picture quality and good audio. So you can consider this solved :)

i did turn off transcoding but then the videos would not be populated on the TV - so I presume that all wtv files must be transcoded? While I prefer not to transcode I am happy to for wtv because it is obvious that this is what makes the quality better than with Windows Media Player server, that is not good for interlaced TV.

What a great product, I will surely be purchasing a license and thank you for your help again. I will now go back to to some of the ISO's that weren't working with audio and hopefully they will now work too.
Regards
Mark

Glad you are up and running, Mark :). You're right - you should have transcoding turned on since your TV model does not support playing WTV files and this lets Mezzmo server auto-transcode them into a compatible format for you.
