View Full Version : mezzmo 4.1.2.0 server not runing

Hi
i am tying to use the play to function to play a avi file on my smart tv. the program shows the tv, but i get the the following error message "can not stream the file to device since mezzmo server is not runing".

mezzmo says server is runing and so does task manager, windows firewall is ok with mezzmo and device is recognized.i restarted server again as well but same result i am running windows xp and mezzmo 4.1.2.0 any help please? any ideas? :)

Right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Play To' -> 'Refresh'. This tells Mezzmo's Play To feature to look for devices and servers on your home netwprk. Wait about 30 sec and hopefully Mezzmo server has been found and you can then push your file to your device(s). If still a problem, let us know and we'll help out.

it did this and still the same message. also in the "play to box on the left" i get this message 701 no object found. my tv is listed but the program will not stream the the movie file or music files and just says server not running even after refresh and seeing it in task manager.

OK - it's best we see a set of logs to determine the problem. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Exit Mezzmo (Windows) app and run it again. Wait a few minutes and now try to use Play To. When you get the 'server not running' error message, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Same problem here with the Mezzmo 4.1.3.0 !

Email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll provide a patch that contains several "Play To" fixes.
