Mezzmo drops from TV list after a few hours idle. Media streams fine when connected.

A year or more back, version 3 something, My Samsung C Plasma would keep seeing Mezzmo for a few weeks before it would go missing. A restart of the Mezzmo server always makes the TV see Mezzmo again. Now it only stays in the TV's list for a few hours, so basically I always need to restart the Mezzmo server before I can watch anything. I never get dropouts while actually streaming content, that part works just great.

I know issues like this have occurred int he past, based on these forum posts. Is anybody still getting such Mezzmo dropping from the TV issues? Any ideas?

Is anybody still getting such Mezzmo dropping from the TV issues? Yes. Mezzmo used to disappear from my Sharp Aquos TV (2012) after several minutes of presence. Although I'm not sure if my freshly patched (because of another issue) Mezzmo still behaves this way.

I think I might have fixed it. Mezzmo has now been up for over 2 days without issue. I changed the server advertisement interval from 1800 (30 minutes) to 180 (3 minutes) seems to have resolved the issue. I think the Samsung needed more reminding. If other Samsung TV owners have Mezzmo drop from their TV, this might be an easy fix for them as well. I'll update if it starts to drop again.
