So I had to uninstall Mezmo and go back to the previous version as the new update is basically unusable. The server would stop responding randomly, and when I went back into the movie and tried to fast forward to where is left off, it would just freeze and stay that way until i unplugged my tv and plugged it back in. This happens with every movie file I try to play, and seem to happen right around the 30 minute mark. I uninstalled and went back to the old version and no problems.

I am using a Sony Bravia KDL

Sorry for the problem. A few other users are reporting the same issue and we're looking into it now. As soon as we have a fix, we'll report back & release an update for all users.

Update: Mezzmo v4.1.3.0 has been released and it contains the fix for this issue. Registered users can download the new update via Help -> Check For Updates menu item in Mezzmo.

Nope. Same exact problem when upgrading again. If you attempt to fast forward, it freezes. Then if you exit out of the movie and go back in you get audio with a black screen. Uninstalled and back to an old version again.

Windows 8.1

Understand. Looking into it more, we have made one change to the Sony KDL device profile in the recent v4.1.x releases, so I guess that is the cause of your problems.

If you wish to install the latest version, we can provide a tweaked Sony KDL device profile that works as per the previous version and that should get you up and running with the new version so you can use the new features/improvements. Email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com if you would like to do that.

Having a similar problem with LG (2013) Profile. Video freezes randomly. Is there an easy way to restore a version prior to 4.1.2

Previous Mezzmo versions are listed here - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6026-FAQ-How-to-download-older-versions-of-Mezzmo

The video stuttering can be caused by several factors. Reasons and fixes are listed here - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6538-Tutorial-How-to-reduce-excessive-stuttering-or-buffering-when-streaming-videos

If no success, let us know and we'll help you get up and running.
