Yes - Mezzmo supports streaming DTS audio to devices. The issue will probably be a device profile issue. What device profile is assigned to your TV in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo? And, please post the FFmpeg information for the video file. Right-click on it in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Thanks for the information. Mezzmo server is transcoding this file since the device profile you are using limits the maximum video bitrate to match your TV's stated supported codecs/formats.

Try this and we can adjust the device profile for you: Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Properties'. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and click the "Use Original File" button. On the Choose Device, select your device and click OK. Click OK to save your changes to the Properties dialog. Now try streaming the video. Mezzmo server will stream the original file without any transcoding. Let us know if that streams and plays OK on your TV.

It plays with settings as above but no DTS, just for info I am using optical form TV to AV receiver if that should make any difference?

Understand. So the original video file (with it's DTS audio) streams OK to your TV. This tells us the your TV can play the file.

Next, you need to go into your TV's settings (using it's remote control) to adjust the audio output settings. There will probably be audio settings to output the audio as PCM, AC3, etc. Choose various settings and see if any feeds through to your receiver. You may also need to check your receiver's settings for optical in & adjust that as well.

My TV sound out put is "AUTO" as mentioned here (http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/13HG900111/EN/c_extsnd_digaout.html)

My AV receiver should be already accepting DTS as plex plays the fille.

So, when you stream the video with Mezzmo server, it plays OK on your TV but you hear no audio at all? And, when you stream it with Plex, what audio format is reported on your receiver?

When played with Mezzmo I hear audio, the receiver shows "signal DIGITAL, Dolby Prologic ll"

OK - that suggests it is not passing through the original DTS channel and is possible being transcoded by Mezzmo server.

It's best we see a set of logs to see what Mezzmo server is streaming. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Now stream the video to your TV and when it starts playing, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
