Memory requirements for Mezzmo 4.1.xxx

Just wondering if Mezzmo has some higher memory requirements now.

Since the intro of Mezzmo 4, the interface is just sluggish and slow. The server runs fine.

My library is fairly large (about 6000 video files and about 20,000 audio files) but basic tasks like deleting an item or just switching between folder views seem to lock it up for a good 10-30 seconds. I have been running it on WHS 2011 with only 4GB of memory and wonder if 8GB might not speed things up.

It should not be sluggish or be any slower than previous versions. We'd like to see a set of logs from you and that may tell us what's happening. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Exit Mezzmo (Windows) app and the run it again. Then do various tasks in Mezzmo that show it to be sluggish, and when reproduced, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
