Mezzmo Server loading but service not started after upgrade?

I've had this issue every once in a while where the Mezzmo software is running but the server service has not been started. This has happened after a reboot or when Windows Update forces a reboot.

I have Mezzmo set to run at Windows startup and the service is set to automatic. Should the service be set to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"? Any ideas? Thanks.

You can set it to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" if you wish and it may help in your computer setup. It does sounds like your PC is having start up issues where Mezzmo server (which is running as a Windows service) does not start up sometimes. It may be caused by other Windows services or other programs running at start up.

If you wish, you can email us a set of logs and we'll be able to check if anything is going wrong with Mezzmo server at start up. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Now reproduce the Mezzmo server not starting after a reboot, etc. and when it occurs, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (if running). Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
