Hi, latest version installed.
I am trying to hide videos from young children (15 and above rating hidden).
If I tell the whole server to not share anything at this rating or above, then add some folders and select that these folders have a rating of say 'Blocked' age 21.

Then all the videos still seem to show in playlists like recently added, by year, etc.
If I add restrictions to their filters like ' content rating not blocked' - then it makes no difference.

It seems that content rating on a folder does not actually affect the files inside that folder when they are added into mezzmo?
So I have to them select all files and give them a content rating.

So if I add new files into the system and they are not content rated, they will show until some point in the future when I log on and change their rating.
Is there no way to abide by the default setting on the folder for all the files inside that folder ?
How can I default that whole folders and all their content are only allowed on certain devices without having to tag all the files inside and / or edit each playlist filter to maybe exclude based on path or something ?

Content ratings and parental control works on files and folders/playlists. Setting a content rating for a folder or playlist does not set the content rating for files or sub-folders/playlist contained in it.

If you add files regularly into your folders on disk and these get automatically listed in your Mezzmo library, then Mezzmo will automatically try to find the content rating of the movie or TV show. In the case where no rating can be obtained, then the file will be left unrated. If you don't want your kids seeing these unrated files, then you can hide them by selecting the 'Do no stream files that are unrated' checkbox.
