I am currently using the standard Playstation 3 device profile. Has there been an updated profile to support .MKV on the PS3. Also, I installed the Plex Media server on my PC as well since the new PS4 has no DLNA availability so I am not sure if that is causing an issue with Mezzmo when they run at the same time.

Thanks

PS3s do not support MKV video so Mezzmo server must transcode these files for them to play. Using the 'Sony PlayStation 3' device profile, Mezzmo will auto-transcode your MKVs to a compatible format. Your problem may be related to Mezzmo server not being able to access your files - esp. if they are on a NAS or external computer. See this FAQ to solve this problem - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/4597-FAQ-Accessing-files-from-external-computers-and-NAS-drives-on-your-home-network.

If that does not help, then it's best we see a set of logs and we'll know what's going wrong. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Now try to browse and play some MKVs on your PS3 from Mezzmo server. When you get the error, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
