Hi,
I have VMWare installed on my PC as I am using this to test Windows 10, however this seems to be causing issues with Mezzmo, Server not seen, dropouts & slow performance

The issue seems to be with the Virtual Network Adaptors that it has installed

There are 2 of these installed which are bridged to my main network adaptor, and what it looks like is happening is Mezzmo is sharing my library over all 3 network adaptors (real one + 2 virtual ones)

192.168.0.xx is my main network card and this is where Mezzmo is shared (static IP)
192.168.132.xx is a virtual adaptor and I don't want Mezzmo shared over this
192.168.80.xx same as above

Can I stop Mezzmo sharing over a certain IP range when all if it is local addresses, or does Mezzmo just share automatically over all local adaptors seen

Disabling these adaptors and disabling the bridged connection on my main adaptor puts everything back to normal

Any thoughts

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

By default, Mezzmo broadcasts itself across all your network adaptors to discover devices on your home network an dfor devices to discover Mezzmo server. In the current version of Mezzmo (v4.1.3.0), there's no way to limit this communication to just a single network adaptor. You can limit communication to particular devices in the Media Devices dialog. Edit your device and set the network adaptor in the Device Settings dialog. By default, it is set to 'Automatic' - meaning all network adaptors.

Sorry for the late reply, was away from my computer for a few days

I left all the virtual networks enabled and windows started doing a lot of its maintenance, after this all seems to be working fine, not sure if a recent windows update had changed something with network connections

All good now
Cheers

Glad Mezzmo is working better now. Thanks for the confirmation.
