Is "Quick Search" Supposed to be SLOW?

Using version 4.1.3.11 I'm assuming that the search box at the right end of the toolbar (next to View) is the Quick Search. I find that as soon as I start typing something into the search box Mezzmo starts searching and it takes a long, long time before it even echoes the characters after the first. During this time Windows claims that Mezzmo is not responding. It's like Mezzmo is searching for all the matches for just the first character of the search term and then it echoes the other search term characters and the search finally terminates.

Is that normal behavior?

By the way, I deleted all 10,000 photos out of the Mezzmo library and that helped but Quick Search is still pretty slow.

Another user also reported that Quick Search was slow, so we're investigating this now and will fix it up for the upcoming new Mezzmo release.
