Mezzmo Use of Artist Properties - Does This Make Sense?

I'm on a Windows 7 PC and have been using Windows Media Player (WMP) for years and have recently started trying out Mezzmo. To me the most important Windows properties of a music file is the Album Artist. A secondary Windows property is Contributing Artist. Mezzmo's use of Album Artist corresponds to Windows Album Artist. However, Mezzmo's use of Artist/Actors correspond to Windows Contributing Artist.

Here's the issue or question: Mezzmo's listings of playlists does not include a column for Album Artist. Why can't Album Artist be one of the columns in the playlist listing? Or, am I just not seeing how to do it?

Hi Larry,

I assume you mean that Album Artist is not a column that is available when viewing your files in Details view. If that's the case, thanks for the suggestion. Email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll add Album Artist as a column for Details view.

Paul, Yes- that is exactly what I meant. I have submitted the request to the Wishlist on the Mezzmo forum but I will also email it directly as you suggested.

Update: We have added the Album Artist column to the Details view. This will be available in the upcoming Mezzmo v5.0.
