another transcoding question

So in an attempt to save space while continuing to keep my bluray collection digital I started thinking about transcoding options.

Instead of having all my movies pretranscoded for my TV, PS3 and Chromcast is there a way that if I bought 2 more Chromecast devices that I could have my videos pretranscoded once for all 3 Chromecast devices?

Your transcoded files are stored by device profile in your transcoding folder. So if you pre-transcode files or let Mezzmo server transcode your files on-the-fly for a certain device, then these will be used for any other device that uses the same device profile. In your case, that means all 3 Chromecast dongles will use the same transcoded files - meaning you will have one transcoded file per video file for your 3 Chromecast dongles.
