Advanced Playlist Filtering

Hello,

I'm wondering, as I've previously suggested using playlists as filters for other playlists and similar things, if it would be possible to allow users to use an "Advanced" playlist, and we ourselves can define the playlist parameters, instead of precanned columns to filter on.

Eg, i'm not sure what Mezzmo's DB backend actually is, (my guess is SQLite or something like that), but providing the option to write direct SQL queries to create our playlists (and accompanying table structure documentation) I think would be an awesome idea for those in the know to create some stupidly awesome playlists :D

Thanks for the suggestion. Our DB backend is sqlite. Related to your request, Mezzmo will soon have a plugin interface that will let you create your own plugins that can deliver playlists and files that will be listed in Mezzmo app and on your devices. This is useful for delivering & streaming media from different sources - such as web sites, your desktop, cameras, etc.
