Android App: High battery usage if app is idle

I noticed that mezzmo under android 5.x consumes a lot of battery if the app is idle and in the background. If I forget to close the app after watching movies etc. the app will drain my battery from 100 to 0 persent within one day. :-( Please fix these bug.

The Mezzmo android app maintains a partial wake lock while the Mezzmo android server is running so that the device does not go to sleep and stop the app from sending and receiving UPnP Notify requests. We are working on version 2.0 of the app at the moment so we may be able to add a timeout for the wake lock so that if the app has not been used after a certain time the wake lock will be released and the device can go to sleep.
