Hello,
I'm running into issues as I add more rules to a smart playlist. The properties windows grows taller than the screen making it hard to select the "Sort By" option or even click OK or Cancel without using the keyboard & some educated guessing. I would love to see a fix for this.
Also on my wishlist would be the ability to create some more complex smart playlist rules. The ability to nest smart playlists with the parent rule being applied to it's child playlists would be helpful.
As an example I could have a series of TV shows poorly organized but I know the file name could contain a specific string or the file could be in a specific folder. I would like to separate this list into SD & HD content. So I need the following rules for the HD folder:
(
File Name > Contains > "tv-show-name"
OR
File Path > Contains > "Path to specific folder
)
AND
Width > Is Greater Than > 1900
AND
Height > Is Greater Than > 1000
However, with the current filtering this is not an option.
The ability to use a regex expression in a rule would be great as well. If there was a "regex" option added to the filter selection (contains, does not contain, starts with, ect) just about any desired filtering could be accomplished by a user who understands regex.
