I've been noticing that some times the play count for a particular video will be way off. I haven't been able to narrow it down completely but it seems to occur when I put a video I am playing on pause for a period of time. Attached is an example of a video I just added to the library and played it for the first time but the play count is 50661. I did pause it a couple of times while I was watching. 828 . I was playing it with a WD Live player. This is Mezzmo 4.1.3.

Thanks for reporting this. We'll try to reproduce it here with our WD TV Live players.

I am experiencing the exact same problem. I also have a WDTV Live SMP. Video I watched last night has a play count of 186. It has also happened on other videos I have watched over the last few days... crazy play counts. An X-BOX ONE is also using the library and always increments the play count correctly.

I am using Mezzmo 4.1.3 with WDTV Live SMP (using the WDTV Live Streaming Media Player profile)

I've also had it happen with my Kodi box but not as often. The trigger is pausing the video. I haven't been able to determine where (i.e. what completion %) but if I pause a movie for a period of time and then restart it, I will get the wild play count. I've setup a smart playlist to track videos with a play count greater than 100 to find them. It happens intermittiently.

Thanks for the additional information. We'll make sure this is fixed for the upcoming Mezzmo v5.0.
