Hi!

I have problems with subtitles because there is no way to make them to show in my device then it will be nice that you can help me (because before i started to move the configurations of devices in Mezzmo i was making "transcoding on the fly and showing subtitles" but since i got a problem with very slow transcoding, i started to change the profiles for my device and now i cant see anything on subtitles.

i read and try this tutorial:

http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/5977-Tutorial-Subtitling-Basics/page2

That is why im asking help

The specs of my machine it is: Windows 7, sp1, 4gb ram quad core processor.

The device iti s a Sony BDP-S390

In the tutorial you was telling about subtitles format compatible and at sony webpage i found this: (funny issue i got to work before with "transcoding in the fly")

Sorry for the long delay. From our experience and user feedback, your Sony BDP model does not support displaying external or embedded subtitles whilst streaming video via DLNA. The only way to see subtitles is by burning them into your video via transcoding. Mezzmo server does this automatically for you and the device profiles in Mezzmo are automatically configured to do this. For your model, I suggest you should be using the 'Sony BDP, HT, SMP (2012 Models)' device profile. Go to the Media Devices dialog to check your device profile. Edit your device and go to the Subtitles tab. Make sure the 'Stream external subtitles' and 'Stream embedded subtitles' checkboxes are turned off and the 'Burn subtitles into video files' checkbox is turned on. Next, go to the Transcoding tab and make sure transcoding is turned on. Also, delete all transcoded files. Now restart your Mezzmo server and try streaming a video now. You should see subtitles displayed on your Sony BDP (assuming you have subtitles associated with the original video file).

Understand. It's best we see a set of logs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging). Delete transcoded files and restart your Mezzmo server. Try streaming the video again and, when no subtitles are displayed, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Also, right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Properties'. On the Properties dialog, go to the Subtitles tab and take a screenshot of this dialog. Email this to us also.
