I have an issue where I am playing music on a Netgear NeoMax TV and many music files are getting the error message "File Type Unrecognized". The files it errors on appear to be consistent, BUT all are MP3 and play with no problem on MS Player, on other Samsung Smart DVD via Mezzmo, Samsung Smart TV, and Panasonic Smart DVD. All video files work fine and about half the music files work fine.

If needed, please post log file capture instructions once again. I will run it and get it to error and forward.

First step, go to the Media Devices dialog and make sure your Netgear NeoMax TV is using the "Netgear NeoTV Max" device profile. If still no success, then turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo server and try to play a few music files. When they don't play, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Also, right-click on the music files that play and don't play and click 'get FFmpeg Information'. Email us this information to us also - making note of which music files play and don't play. We'll use this information to tweak the device profile for you to try.

The first chance I have will be on 7/10. I will "get er done!"

I checked all; device set properly. Ran test, about 50% of all files fail. I have forwarded the logfiles. to the email addr listed.

BTW- the error is not "file type unrecognized" but "unknown error"
