View Full Version : Streaming Bluray audio issues.

It's not happening with every .iso file I have but I've noticed every now and then I'll get a message on my TV whilst trying to stream a Bluray "The file format is not supported. Audio codec: PCM_S16BE" There's no audio at all. The film actually plays fine though.

If I change the audio to a different language it works fine but obviously I'd like it playing in English.

Is there a way around this ?

Let us know a few things:

The model of your TV that you are streaming to.
The device profile assigned to your TV. Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.
The FFmpeg information of the ISO video you are streaming. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Post that information here or email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Go to the Media Devices dialog and change the device profile for your TV to 'Samsung H' or 'Samsung H (UHD)'. Save your changes and restart your Mezzmo server. Try streaming the ISO video now. Hopefully it plays better.

I've tried the above (both profiles) and unfortunately it's still displaying the same error message. Any other suggestions ?

Right-click on the ISO video and click 'Properties'. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and click the 'Use Original File' button. Choose your TV from the device list and click OK. Click Ok to save the changes and now try to stream the ISO video again to your TV. Mezzmo will stream it to your TV without any transcoding. If it plays OK, then we know that the video is supported natively. Let us know how it goes & we'll tweak the device profile.

I've changed the option to Use Original File but sadly it's still displaying the same error message on the TV. I've tried it with the original profile as well as the Samsung H and Samsung H (UHD) but still nothing :(

Could you please send me that tweaked profile because after moving over the Windows 10, I'm experiencing the same problem again. Thanks in advance :)
