Mainting library on a weekly or monthly base

is there a way to change the library maintanence from daily to a weekly or monthly base?

Sorry there is not way to change maintenance from a daily schedule.

The good news is that, in the upcoming Mezzmo v5.0, we have adding a new "refresh folder" feature where you can specify when you want Mezzmo to refresh each of your folders. For example, you may want to refresh your download folder every (say) 30 minutes so Mezzmo detects any new files and automatically adds them to your Mezzmo library (complete with full metadata). The refresh folder interval can be specified in minutes, hours, days, etc.
