Hi.

I'm trying to play something that's encoded in the x265 format but sadly I'm getting this error message on my Samsung UE55HU8500TXXU saying "The selected file is not currently supported."

I'm using the following.

Windows 10 x64
Mezzmo 4.1.3.0
Samsung H profile

Any help would be great. Thanks :)

It appears that your TV's firmware does support the h265 video codec. Try this: Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click Properties. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and click the "Use Original File" button. Select your TV from the device list and click OK. Click OK to save your change and try streaming the video now. This time, Mezzmo server will stream the video without any transcoding. Let us know if it plays. If it does, then we can tweak the Samsung H device profile so that this always works for h265 video files. Email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com for the tweaked device profile. In your email, please provide the FFmpeg information for the video. To get this, right-click on the video and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.
