Samsung J-series support in Mezzmo 4.1.3

Hi Paul,

I activated my new Samsung J6780 UHD today. Mezzmo initially didn't recognize it as a TV at all (but still provided basic functionality) but after restarting the Mezzmo app and server process assigned the Samsung C profile to it. Surprisingly (or not) with the Samsung C profile everything I need seems to work: Video replay of MPEG2 and AVCHD formats, Photos, FLAC music. I can fast forward in AVCHD files, it continues where I left off last time etc.

Now my question: Are you going to provide a Samsung J profile for Mezzmo 4.x? Your Mezzmo 5 release notes say something like 'Samsung J's are supported in Mezzmo 5'. Or do I have to wait for Mezzmo 5 general availability?

Not urgent! Mezzmo 5 takes precedence :-)

You can email us now at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll provide the new Samsung J-series device profile to you. We have many Samsung J-series TV owners using it and it appears to be working very well.
