I am assuming that you mean "Kodi" not "Kobi".

Yes, that is how I do it because the library and permission options are so much better in Mezzmo than they are using Kodi's own library. You'll just go into your Video (or Audio) tab and "Add Files" then add Mezzmo as a UPnP source. To make it easy, I always favorite Mezzmo and then run a skin that lets me add a shortcut on the Kodi blade for Mezzmo. Kodi doesn't stream all of the metadata over DLNA but album art, title, plot, time, etc. all carry over very well.
