Hi!

I am using the trial of Mezzmo v4.1.3.0, day 2. Running on W7/64.

In the "media devices"-window I can see all my devices correctly and "connect allowed" (TV: Panasonic TX-50CXW804, Profile Viera 2013 base models; BluRay: Panasonic DMP-BDT700, Profile Viera 2013 base models). But in the "play to"-tab I cannot see any, the dropdown is empty.
And "play to" selected on a media file just shows me a "refresh"-option.

Why, what is wrong?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,

We've made some improvements for Play To in the upcoming Mezzmo v5.0. You can email us now at support [at] conceiva [dot] com if you like and we'll provide a patch for your current Mezzmo v4.1.3.0 that will have these Play To improvements.

Patch works fine, now the TV appears in the "devices"-tab and the "play to"-menu :D

Thanks,

Hi Paul,

is there also a way to integrate my Panasonic BluRay DMP-BDT700?
With your patch Mezzmo now is able to "talk" to my Pana TV, but only to the TV and not the BluRay.

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,

Your Panasonic Blu-ray player is DLNA certified so you should be able to stream videos, music and photos to it. And, you should be able to use "Play To" to push media files from Mezzmo to it. Check the device profile assigned to your Panasonic Blu-ray player in the Media Devices dialog. It should be set to "Panasonic BDP (2013 models)". Let us know how you go or what specific problems you are having and we'll help out.

Hi Paul,

device profile was "Panasonic Viera 2013 base Models", I changed it to "Panasonic BDP (2013 models)" but the BluRay still does not appear in the "play to"-tab and menu.
But donīt mind about that, Iīm fine as it is with the TV working! It was just an additional idea, but nothing necessary at all.

Thanks for your great help by now,
Robert

Hi Robert,

It is probable that your Panasonic Blu-ray model is not a DLNA digital media renderer (DMR) and is only a DLNA digital media player (DMP). The DLNA spec restricts "Play To" features to only work with DMRs and not DMPs. We can find out more about your Blu-ray model's capabilities with a set of logs if you would like us to investigate it further.
