Hi Paul,
When I am trying to start an BD ISO File with Kodi which resides on a server I get the following Message:
Mindestens eine Datei konnte nicht abgespielt werde. Für mehr Details Logdatei einsehen.
I cannot identify the problem in the Log File. Therefore I have added the Kodi Log-File for your information.
Hopefully you can identify the problem for me.
Also if I use the function playing from here on different locations in the Playlist it always starts the same film.
It looks like a communication problem between Kodi and Mezzmo.

From Kodi's logs, when Kodi requests the video from Mezzmo server, Mezzmo server responds with an error saying the video was not found.

It's best we see a set of Mezzmo logs as well. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Using Kodi, try to play the video again. When it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Hi Paul,

please find attached requested Mezzmo log Files.
I have tried to start 3 different BD films in Kodi on another PC in the local network. It always started the same film which was not one of the selected films!
I also included the kodi lof files of this test.

Hi Hannes,

Thanks for the logs. That show that Mezzmo server was not able to locate or access your ISOs (e.g. "h:\media\video\bd\stone.iso"). If "h:" drive is a mapped drive, then it could be that Mezzmo server (when running as a Windows service) does not understand your mapped drives and therefore cannot locate the ISO.

If you are running Mezzmo server as a Windows service, then try running it as a console application so it understands your mapped drive(s). Go to the Media Server Settings dialog to change how Mezzmo server runs on your computer.

Let us know how you go.

Hi Paul,

thanks for your quick response!
I have checked the path within the library and it seems, that all info was lost during the migration to Mezzmo 5. If I want to see the path of one video, it always shows "my PC". Is this C: ? My videos are stored in J:\Media\Video\BD or J:\Media\Video\DVD an so on. How can I repair the library / file path of each single Video?

regards
Hannes

Hi Hannes,

If you want to change the paths of your files in your Mezzmo database, you can use Mezzmo's Change Path feature. See this FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/6219-Tutorial-How-to-update-your-Mezzmo-library-when-you-move-your-media-files.

Hi Paul,

changing the path did not help. :-( I had to delete entries in the library playlist and load them again from the disc. I did this with my BDs, which are only 55 films. Took a while to load all information as they where before the upgrade to mezzmo 5. Its now running.
But I would have to load 710 DVD films which will take ages. Is there an easy way to repair the library? Any idea? It looks like the URL in the film's properties is not ok.

I found, that clicking on the "show path" in the film properties does not work with my win 10 PC. It only starts explorer but does not jump to the selected file. Please check.

Hi Hannes,

It's best we check your Mezzmo database for any problems and repair it for you. To do this:

In Mezzmo (Windows) app, go to the Options dialog (General) page and make a note of your Mezzmo database folder.
Stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app.
In Windows Explorer, go to your Mezzmo database folder.
Zip up your "Mezzmo.db" file and upload it to a filesharing site like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. and email us the download link to support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
In your email, make a note of some of the DVD videos that are not correct or working. That will help us track down the problem you are having.
