This is probably a stupid question either because the answer is obvious or because it is something Mezzmo was never designed to do. However, here we go .... is it possible to have captions appearing on photos when they are displayed using the new web browser feature in Mezzmo 5 - especially when in full screen mode. This would be really good for showing photos to friends and family. By the way, now that I have a wireless display laptop which I can mirror on to my Sony Bravia TV without the need to connect an HDMI cable, I use the web browser facility all the time rather than trying to use DLNA which was always a fiddle with the TV. Mezzmo keeps getting better and better! Thanks

When using Mezzmo's web interface, when you click on a photo or run the photo slideshow, the photo and it's caption are displayed (caption is at bottom). However, when you enter full screen mode, the caption is not displayed. We'll discuss whether we make this an option for the web interface. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Paul. If you do add it as an option for full screen mode, I suggest the caption should overlay the photo along the bottom as per Picasa. In the meantime, I am now using Mezzmo in non full screen mode, but I put the browswer into full screen (F11 on Firefox). If I then scroll down slightly I can get all the photo and the caption (title) on the screen (otherwise the caption is off the bottom of the screen).

Just one other "feature". I have noticed that to move to the next photo I use the left arrow on the keyboard. Logically, I would have expected it to be the right arrow?

As I said, I now have a wonderful working environment with all the photos stored on a NAS and Mezzmo working on a laptop. At the moment this is not the wireless display laptop so I need to have the two laptops fired up if I want to use that feature. I may transfer Mezzmo to the wireless display laptop. Can I just install Mezzmo on the second laptop and then copy over the relevant directories to save re-building the library and transcodng? It is all backed up on the NAS anyway so this would be easy.

Thanks for letting us know about the arrow keys. We'll fix that up for the next Mezzmo release.

Regarding moving your Mezzmo database & transcoded files, if all your file paths (for your media files, Mezzmo database, artwork, transcoded files, etc.) are the same, then you can safely point your newly installed Mezzmo to these folders and all should work fine.
