Hello, I'm trying to cleanup my library, I want to delete movies (which I was able to in the past). I click the movie then click delete button and then 'Yes' to delete. I see that status in the Status window indicating that it is deleting but the movie stays behind. I am having this issues with several movies that I am trying to delete. I have restarted the server several times and tried again with same result. I compacted the DB and same results.

Is there a limit on the number of movies/playlist etc. that Mezzmo supports.

There is no limit with the number of files, playlists or folders in Mezzmo. We regularly test Mezzmo with 750K+ files.

We'll know why your movies are not being deleted by seeing a set of logs. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging). Stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Start Mezzmo (Windows) app again. Now try to delete a video. When it fails to be removed, exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Also, you are running a very old version of Mezzmo. The current version is v5.0.3.0. If you are a registered user, it is a free upgrade. Go to Help -> Check For Updates to upgrade - or download the latest Mezzmo installer from www.mezzmo.com and run it. It will detect your current version and upgrade it for you.

Paul, I sent the required logs on 5/29/16.

Just an FYI. My database has over 5,000 songs and over 4,000 videos with no issues adding, deleting or changing files. I have a limited number of active playlists but a large number of smart playlists.

The logs indicate that there is some corruption in your Mezzmo database, so when the delete is executed it fails and this is why the file remains in the library. You will need to replace the current database with a backup if you have one or start a new clean Mezzmo database and add your files again (go to Options in Mezzmo to reset the database or restore a backup). We can also try to recover the database if you send it to us, go to your database folder (find this in Options in Mezzmo) and add the Mezzmo.db file to a zip, depending upon the size of the Mezzmo.db file you may need to upload it to a share site like OneDrive or GoogleDrive and send us a download link.
