It seems to me that the Xbox One has the ability to stream many different video types yet still needs to transcode just about everything? I've turned the transcoding option off and it plays just about all of the videos I have. The only issue I run into is when there's a need for subtitles. The device profile wants transcoding on for the subtitles to be burned in. Can you please tweak the profile so I don't have to transcode everything at super slow speeds. I don't have the time or the hard drive space for that...

Ok so I ran the newest update for Mezzmo and it corrected a few of the problems I was having. Still, the .mkv blurays I have are transcoding when they don't need to. Like I said, the only issue comes when there's a need for subtitles. That's the only time it should need to transcode the .mkv files.

Thanks for letting us know. We can improve the Microsoft Xbox One device profile so that transcoding is minimized. We'll need the FFmpeg information on the files that can be played natively by your Xbox One. Right-click on the video(s) in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Email that information to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll tweak the device profile for you to try.
