When you click on a film in Mezzmo Library you get the metadata (Film synopsis, actors etc.) Is it not possible to get this information on the TV the film is being streamed to?

Thanks

Alan :)

Hi Alan,

Mezzmo delivers all metadata to your TV (and any other devices you are streaming to), but it is up to your TV's firmware to display this metadata. Unfortunately, most TVs and DLNA devices usually display just the title and poster.

The best solution for this is to use our Mezzmo Android app if you have an Android smartphone or tablet. It lets you browse your Mezzmo library on your PC, view all metadata and play selected files onto your TV or other DLNA devices in your home. You get full playback control - including Play, Stop, Pause, FF/REW, Mute, Mute, Next File, Previous File, Shuffle, Repeat Playing, etc. Search for 'Mezzmo' in Google Play to download & install it.

Also, you should also consider using our web interface in your web browser, or our Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on, or an Android TV-based TV/device or our upcoming Mezzmo for Roku app. They all display all metadata. More details on our Wiki - http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki
