Benn using Mezzmo for many years and recently returned to Europe from Asia and changed TV from Samsung to JVC LT-40VT70G.

I cannot find any profiles for JVC TV's and am using Generic Device (NTSC). Is this my best option?

I have a few files that are playing fine when on a USB connected to the TV but cannot be seen when using Mezzmo. Could this be I need to have a profile for the JVC TV?

Hi,
we can create a device profile for your TV. Using the Generic Device (NTSC) transcoding is off by default so all your files will be streamed as the original file, the files that can play on a USB but are not listed when using Mezzmo are likely using a mimetype that the TV does not recognize. Please send an email to support [at] conceiva [dot] com and include the ffmpeg information of some of the different file formats that play by right-clicking on the file in Mezzmo and select 'Get FFmpeg Information...' then copy and paste this into the email. Also include in the email the FFmpeg Information of the files that do not get listed by Mezzmo and we will create a profile to try and get these files working in Mezzmo.
