I have an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet with 10" screen that displays only 2 1/2 rows of movies 8 full and 4 half at a time with a huge border around each image. How can it display more on one screen? Would a 12" tablet display more? How about the Samsung 18" tablet? My Asus is over 5 years old so it's time to upgrade anyway.

My desktop 24" monitor can display 60 small icon images on one screen.

If you touch the second last icon on the top right in the Action bar at the top of Mezzmo Android, it will toggle the view between Gallery View, List View and Grid View. These modes let you see your movies in different layouts and maybe one of them will suit your browsing better.

To answer your specific question: The size of the tablet is not the important factor but its resolution is. A higher resolution Android device will display more thumbnails onscreen.

I tried the display setting and at best it shows 12 movies because the Asus has only a 1280 x 800 resolution. Now my next task is to buy a new tablet, my Asus being 5 years old anyway.

Here are the three options I was able to get info on:

18" Samsung Galaxy View = 1920 x 1080
12" Samsung Tab Pro = 2560 x 1600
12" Apple iPad Pro = 2732 x 2048

Seems like even though the 18" Samsung has a huge screen, it has the lowest resolution. Next are the two 12" tablets, Apple having the highest resolution. Never having used an Apple product (always used Android), does it pay to buy it?

I'm assuming because Apple having the highest resolution, it will be able to display more movie titles than the Samsung 12".

Hi,
we do not currently have a Mezzmo app for iOS so if you intend to use the Mezzmo app you will need to get one of the Android tablets. The Mezzmo app has the elements on screen sized to fit the dpi of the screen so a larger resolution may not display more movies on the screen. Possibly you could try changing the dpi of your existing tablet to see if this improves the number of movies on screen, there are tutorials around with instructions for changing the dpi like http://www.androidbeat.com/2015/07/how-to-change-dpi-of-android-device-without-root/
