Panasonic Viera Device Profile (2016 TH50DX750B)

Hello,

I'm using the 2015 Panasonic Viera (UHD) profile fairly successfully for a 2016 TV, but noticed that Mezzmo is transcoding HD content transcoded in h.264 (quickly), and h.265 (slowly), despite the fact that they are supported natively by the TV. I've proven this by disabling transcoding for the media device - playback works perfectly without transcoding.

Would it be possible to have a device profile that would prevent automatic transcoding of files using these codecs? I'm reluctant to globally disable transcoding for the media device as there is other content on my Mezzmo that will require transcoding for proper playback.

Hi Ian,
we can update the device profile so that these files play without transcoding, please right-click on each file in Mezzmo and select 'Get FFmpeg Information...' then copy and paste this into an email to support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we will update the profile and send you the updated profile.
