Hey Paul, Peter

I wanted to wait until you had finished your huge accomplishment on 5.1 before bringing this back up as I feel it is important.

At the moment we can only Mark or Unmark 1 episode at a time within Mezzmo. In Kodi this does not work at all (either marking or unmarking). I am not sure about other platforms. So just a recap on what we discussed prior...

The ability to Mark or Unmark an entire folder (season) as watched.
Either being able to accomplish this from either Mezzmo's end or insert platform here (mine is Kodi).

This would allow for a much better system. At the moment, in order to mark or unmark a TV series (for example), we need to do one episode at a time, which can take forever or some series.

This would be a great addition to an already excellent product, and well done on the latest release.

Cheers.

The watched/unwatched indicator is based upon the play count value. If it is zero then it is unwatched. If it is higher than zero it is watched. You can set an entire series folder via the Mezzmo interface. You select all of the videos and then set the play count to zero. That will remove the watched indicator. I've tested it with the Kodi add-on. You do bring up a good point though on the Kodi add-on. It would be kind of nice if using the watched / unwatched options within the Kodi add-on changed the database flags.

For example:

Setting a file to unwatched would set the play count to zero and remove the last played time variable
Setting a file to watched would increment the play count to 1 and set the last watched time to now

That is easier than having to use the Mezzmo GUI to do the same.

Thanks for the feedback Hashy, adding the ability to mark files as watched from the Kodi addon is still on our todo list so we will get to it at some point. Until then you can set files to unwatched as Jeff describes by selecting all the files in Mezzmo then setting the playcount to 0.

Yep and thanks for the help with this. I done as Jeff described (thanks Jeff) and it is all working fine. I didn't realise this was possible before, now I have gone through a heap of folders like a crazy person marking and unmarking stuff. :)

Thanks again.
