View Full Version : v5.1 - Maintain Playlist for a single item

Good evening,

There might be a small problem with trying to Maintain Playlist for a single item. If I right-click an item in my SCI-FI movies folder and use Maintain Playlist, I get a User Task entry that says Maintaining Playlist 'SCI-FI' Checking Files - 100% Complete - 1 Files Processed - 0 Files Updated.

It never completes. A quick check of processes shows FFMPEG.EXE running at about 90% CPU.

Ending the FFMPEG process allows the other normal Mezzmo tasks to start and run - Artwork, Subs, etc.

It does this on both Pro and free versions and on any item under any folder. I haven't tried it on any version other than 5.1

Thanks.

Jim

Hi Jim,
Mezzmo 5.1 introduces video preview images to the Roku and the web interface, when you maintain a playlist or file and the box to generate video preview thumbnails is checked then the thumbnails will be extracted from the video using ffmpeg.exe and then packaged into the Bif folder in the Transcoding folder. You can prevent this by unchecking the box in the Maintain dialog.

Thanks Peter.

That fixed it.
