Hello!

Fantastic piece of software. Support is top notch.
I think it's been pretty clear by now that Samsung TV's/players do not allow subtitles to be played if they are located inside the MKV file. If there is a .srt file located within the same dir with the same file name as the movie it plays it fine through Mezzmo.
There are freeware programs which allow the extraction of the .srt file from within the MKV container. I know it's been stated that future builds of Mezzmo intend to have the ability to add subtitles when a MKV is transcoded to the player.

Can we get support for Mezzmo to automatically extract a .srt subtitle file from the MKV if there are subtitles contained? This would hopefully be done via an option switch such as "Have Mezzmo extract a subtitle file if available?" or similar.
This would be awesome as transcoding is a no-no if it's not necessary to play the file, but you're just trying to have subtitles play!

Yes, we do plan to allow extracting subtitles and possibly even converting to .srt from within files once the whole subtitle engine is added to Mezzmo. So, then you'll be able to stream .srts separately without transcoding/remuxing the file.
