First I have to say that I have been using Mezzmo now for years and Love it.

I have had several Samsung TV's that have all worked fine with it. 6 Months ago I purchased a Samsung un55ks8000 to replace my TV that died. Mezzmo worked just fine, but here recently the TV wont let me pause, fastforward, rewind, or remember my previous position. Then last night it just starts shutting off in the middle of playing. I am using the most current version of Mezzmo and my TV's software is up to date. The TV and computer are on wired on the gigabit network.

I had first thought it was just an issue with new files so I found video that I knew worked previously and they still suffer the same issue. I have made sure windows 10 is up to date, I have made sure Mezzmo is up to date and the TV software is up to date.

Can someone point me in the right direction to start solving this issue? It is very frustrating. Any suggestion is helpful at this point. I will try anything.

Hi,
please check in 'Media Devices' in Mezzmo to see which device profile is being used for your TV, Samsung TVs require special device descriptions to get resume to work so you should be using the Samsung K profile.

Thank you! That was it exactly. Not sure how that even got changed nor did I realize it was an option. Works like it should now. Also, thank you for a quick reply
