Is there any way of telling Mezzmo that the content of a folder is movies and not tv shows, with regard metadata?

Reason I ask is I have a few folders with Movies in them, and they being incorrectly identified as TV shows, so I am not getting the correct metadata. I'm able to di it manually but gave up there are just too many of them. I was hoping there might be a way to narrow down the metadata search to movies only, to try and improve identification.

Many thanks

Can you provide a few examples of the video filenames that are are regarded as TV shows and not movies? Post the full path names of the problem files. We may need to tweak our filename parser to better detect movies & TV shows.

Sorry having trouble getting a screenshot. It displays movietitle followed by S192 E168 on all of them. Its a strange one, its only happening on my NAS, all other movie/tv folders seem fine. Ive tried removing any junk from the folder and re-adding but no joy.

Looking at the file names, they all have season and episode information in them (e.g. S192 E168 = season 192, episode 168). Given they are movies, I don't understand why they would have season and episode information in the file names. They are badly named files and should be changed.

Problem I have is Mezzmo added the S192 E168 parts, the original filenames dont have them. The filenames in this folder dont differ from any of my other movie/tv folders but this is the only folder I am having this issue with. There is nothing in the filenames to indicate they are tv programs?

Can you tell us the original filenames on disk? That will help us determine the problem.

I'm only guessing this is (partly) the same problem I'm having in this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/9237-5-1-2-0-issue-with-folders-containing-dots.

Perhaps - but we will only know when the OP tells us the actual filename of the files.
