I do not know if this issue is constantly brought up or not, but here goes nothing. I have an Asus router with a static ip address, it starts with 67.136.... I have Mezzmo installed on a server running Windows home server. in the users settings, the web page link 192.168... opens and works perfectly on LAN. The link for outside the home http://67.136... does not (states web page can not be displayed). I have port 2477 forwarded open in the router to the correct ip address of the server (same as in the settings). Note: the security camera system I also have can be viewed from outside the home with out issues. Please help in figuring this out, thank you in advance for your time

All sounds OK. If you have not already read through this Wiki post, please read it for other possible reasons to get your external access working - http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=streaming_outside_your_home

If still no success, take a screenshot of your port forwarding / triggering setup that you have made in your router's settings and post it here. And take a screenshot of your Media Server Settings dialog in Mezzmo and post it here.

In your router settings, you need to change the "Local Port" value to the port that Mezzmo server is using on your computer - i.e. the Media server port that is listed in the Media Server Settings dialog. In your case, that is 53168.

Thank you Paul!! I have never had this feature of Mezzmo work before. I have been using Mezzmo for ears now but t has been confined to the boundries of the LAN and now has been set free.

I have a netgear r6020.
I don't know which ports to port.
I have been using TCP & UDP established ports and I get "...refused to connect" error messages.

See our wiki for tips to configure your router: http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=streaming_outside_your_home.

If still no success, then take a screenshot of your router's settings and post it here or email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
