Subtitles not working with a Samsung LN46A850

Hi,

I just discovered your product yesterday and I have to say that it's the first DLNA media product that works successfully with my TV. All others (Tversity and ORB) have failed to work.

I am using version 2.1.11.0 and I have a problem getting subtitles to display on my Samsung 850 TV. I've tried various files that have subtitles and none of them work on the TV. I also have an XBOX 360 and subtitles do not work with it as well.

Do you have any suggestions as to what else can be done?

Will you also be supporting subtitles on the XBOX 360 in the future?

Hi,

Are those external subtitles (SRT/SUB) or ones that are actual subtitle streams in a file? If the latter, then Samsung TVs don't support those - they only support external subtitles.

A future version of Mezzmo will allow you to burn the subtitles as part of the video, so that devices like Samsungs and the XBox will be able to show them.
