Child Process FFMPEG exits with 109

I have a punch of DVD iso images. I had everything running well on Windows 7 but as soon as I upgraded to 10 all of my ISO images stopped working. Other formats are just fine.

I am using Mezzmo 5.2.0.0 I have NOT modifed libFFMPEG from stock

I am using Intel QSV. I also tried it without QSV with the same results.

This could be caused by the Windows Firewall blocking the loopback address 127.0.0.1, please try temporarily disabling the Windows firewall to see if the transcoding completes.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem overhere. Only happens with ISO images (although in my case this happens: 1. not with all ISO images; not with all tracks on an image that is - thus partially - affected), ffmpeg stops with error code 109.
Tried to disable the firewall (just to be sure, I guess that a firewall problem should influence all).

This may be related to a problem with the ffmpeg version that is included with Mezzmo (or its implementation). I tried to check for updates to ffmpeg from the Mezzmo GUI, but the button just leads me to the credits-page containing a reference to an older ffmpeg version dated 2014-09-04 and I am not sure if an external Windows-built of ffmpeg will work with Mezzmo (didn't try that and preferably I would not like to built it myself using sources).

I am not sure with what update this problem started, but I know for sure that these images used to work in the past. At least it didn't work already using the last but one version of Windows 10 (Fall Creators Update), but that involved the current version of Mezzmo if I am correct. The last time it worked for sure is with the version of Mezzmo before the wellknown Windows 10-bug concerning not being able to start it as a service.

Right now I am working around this flaw by precoding the ISO using Handbrake which seems to work fine, but leads to unnecessary copies and wasted space...

We will be including an updated ffmpeg in the next update of Mezzmo, this is not related to the problem with the ISO images though. Before the bug with the Windows 10 creators update Mezzmo accessed ISO images via pipe to ffmpeg, in the updates after this Mezzmo uses the loopback ip 127.0.0.1 to serve ISO images to ffmpeg so you will need to make sure that your firewall software allows full access to Mezzmo.exe in order for transcoding to work correctly.

I completely turned off the windows firewall. (Even though I do use it and would prefer not to).

Still the same results. I also noticed the for ISO with a Menu it does this. But for ISO without an Menu it seems OK. But in Windows 7 it's fine.

Can you please try going to Transcoding Settings in Mezzmo and change the hardware encoding settings to not use Quick Sync then try transcoding the file again to see if the problem occurs?

It is showing h264_qsv in the ffmpeg command line which means that QuickSync is being used. If there is a problem with the QuickSync libraries after the update to windows 10 then this could cause the problem.
