View Full Version : Samsung UN40C5000QF Problem

I have a Samsung UN40C5000QF TV.. I installed the sample Mezzmo software because the Samsung software has a common problem of crashing on my computer because I have too many video folders.. Mezzmo was recommended in the Samsung support forum and was said to work perfectly with Samsung TVs.. I installed the software, and after adding all my folders to Mezzmo the video files appear on my TV but do not play.. I get a "Not supported file format" error with all the files I attempt to play.. All of my videos played with the Samsung software.. Is there something I missed during the software setup or doesn't Mezzmo work with my model Samsung TV?

Are you using the "Samsung C" device profile (you can check using the Media Devices dialog)? We do have updates for the Samsung TVs, so can you please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll send that out to you.

Thank you for the quick reply.. Yes, it is set to "Samsung C" device profile.. I will send support a message.. Is there any other info I need to include in the message?

No, just the TV's model number.

I quickly received the update.. It seems to have fixed my problem.. All of the videos I tested seem to play.. Thank you Dennis for your help..
