I keep a great deal of my music library replicated on both my PC and my Android phone. When I do not have access to my Mezzmo PC server, I would like to use playlists from Mezzmo PC on my phone, using Mezzmo Android App as the server, play the same list to the Android phone and listen with my earphones. However, I can't seem to find a way to import m3u or pls standard playlists into the Android App and I don't want to have to recreate my PC playlists manually on the phone. Is this possible?

In a related question, when I use the Android App as a server, the media pane of the control panel contains a "Playlist" folder that is emplty. It has a generic asterisk icon. Here's a fuzzy screenshot. It's the bottom folder.

Is this folder normal? If so, can I play m3u and pls playlists there?

Best,
Bob

Hi Bob,
in the playlist page in the Mezzmo android app there is a menu item to save the current playlist contents as a playlist, this will then appear under the playlist folder in the Mezzmo android server and you will be able to play the files. It is not currently possible to import m3u or pls playlists into the app, you can browse the media files stored on your android device and add files into the playing queue and then save this as a playlist.
