Just installed and loaded Mezzmo. Fantastic. Primary client is Roku for TV. Family will finally be able to easily see the digital family media that's been captured for 15+ years.

I've imported many hundreds of media files and want to clean up the automatic assignment of categories and genres, starting with movies / videos / ripped DVDs. I want to start with cases where no genre and no category have been assigned but am mystified how to create a playlist that will give me such a list. ie., Where null exists for either meta type.

According to a circa 2013 forum thread (link below), "We'll add support for searching for blank entries in smart playlists. It will be included in the next Mezzmo release." Unfortunately I can't see that feature nor find any references to how to do this. What am I missing?

Try creating a smart playlist with a rule where genre is equal to and leave the value blank and this should show all files with no genre. Do the same for category.
