Yes, both "Add Folder" and "Scan drives" allow you to add network folders/files.

HI Dennis,
I have problems with inserting music and video files. Photos do work!
but no chance of getting those other file types to get recognized. It always prompts "Invalid Media File". When moving them to my local drive those files work without any problems...
Hope you have a solution.

Hi Diether,

Are the photos located on the same NAS as music and videos? Can you please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then try playing one of videos on your device and once that fails, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll investigate what's happening.

The issue seems to be with the file path name to NAS files. I see the following error in the data logs.
*** ERROR IN GETSHORTPATHNAME FOR and it then lists the UNC path to the NAS file instead of the standard Local Drive Path starting with the drive letter.

Most probably the server doesn't have permissions to access those files - can you please check if you have Guest accounts turn on and also if there're any restrictions on which users can access the files on the NAS? Are you adding them to Mezzmo using a mapped drive or UNC paths?
