View Full Version : MP4 file recognized as audio , but it is video file !

Hello.
I need some help here .
Really weird issue (
My mp4 4k movie file is recognized as an audio file , that is why it is not in video category and i
cant watch it on tv .
How can i change a category for this mp4 file to video?

Can you please right-click on the file in Mezzmo and select 'Get FFmpeg Information...' then copy and paste the contents into a post here so we can see the properties of the file?

By the way , the file is perfectly fine seen on tv via netger router dlna.

The video codec dvhe appears to be not recognized by ffmpeg as video. It is listed as none instead of video so this is why Mezzmo does not detect the file as a video. You may need to re-encode it to another video format to get Mezzmo to recognize it as a video file.

Ok , but i think it will be better if you solve this issue in future update .
As it is recognized as video even by very simple built-in DLNA on Netger router .
Or at least provide an option to change the category from music to video.
