So I've been piloting Mezzmo on my PC for a bit now, and after some tweaking (thank you very much Conceiva support) it seems to be working reasonably well. At first I was having lots of trouble getting my video files (mostly MKV w/ DTS) to play correctly. Now it seems to be a lot better in any case.

It's getting time for me to look at a new storage option for all my media, and I've always had my eye on Synology. In particular I like their DS410j or DS410 NAS models. Now, they come with a built in DLNA media server, but I can't find out much info about how it's GUI performs, how well it works with Samsung TVs, etc. Since I know Mezzmo works fairly well, I was wondering if anyone here had tried installing Mezzmo on a Synology DiskStation?

Unfortunately Mezzmo cannot be installed on a DS - it's a Windows application and needs Windows to run. The DS is running some flavor of Linux, probably.

Yes I believe it does. Thanks Dennis.
