View Full Version : Samsung PN50B850 does not see Mezzmo

Looking for some help to resolve this:
Mezzmo latest build + Samsung PN50B850, all network/internet functions work on the TV and other DLNA apps I've tried (Wild, Serviio), my computer can see the TV and they are on the same IP range. Firewall disabled.
So the issue is that the TV does not see Mezzmo... If I use the same cable to hook up laptop I can see Mezzmo, but TV does not and does not show up in Mezzmo as any device(not detected). Restarted both the server and TV a few times- no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the firewall is disabled, it's possible that some services that are needed are not running - please check this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/514-Windows-services-that-need-to-be-running-in-order-for-Mezzmo-media-server-to-launch.?highlight=windows+services

Also, do you have a single NIC or multiple?

It would also possibly help if you could send us the logs. Please turn the logs on (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/419-FAQ-How-to-turn-on-diagnostic-logging) then restart Mezzmo server and restart the TV. After you get to a list of media servers on the TV and Mezzmo is not there, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll take a look.
