You may not be able to "recommend" any particular BDP players, but I am curious if you see any certain manufacturer whose DLNA interface works better than others? I see quite a few posts on Samsung and Sony, but very few on LG. This made me wonder if some manufacturers have a better handle on DLNA than others. This would help in future purchase decisions.
LG BDPs actually have good format support (similar to Samsung). Sony's are limited in this sense, but Samsung doesn't have FF/REW (only skipping). So there are ups and downs with each.
Thanks....I took back a Sony BDP originally because it had no shuttle/random play. I couldn't believe it. I have since been told that Sony Cd players didn't have it either. Costco took it back with a raised eyebrow when asked if it had a problem.
